Steps-the rise on all steps is about 5”. This makes it easier to climb the stairs as we age. The landing outside the sliding glass is door is large enough to fit a walker. The solitube in the kitchen has a solar led light in it which comes on when it’s dark. It gives off a lot of light. The kitchen screen door is retractable. It saves door width instead of a regular screen door. The patio concrete around the house is new. Before the concrete was poured, the contractor made sure all slopes drained properly. All drains ultimately drain to the street. The concrete foundation under the jacuzzi is reinforced and built up with extra cement. Added gutter screening to the underside of the eaves. It was screwed in and caulked. This was to prevent termites. The dirt foundation of the entire lot was sprayed for sub terrain termites before the new house was moved on to it. The spraying is good until late 2025. The white fence is vinyl and no maintenance. The front planters have pipes for irrigation but we’ve never used them. We have drought tolerant plants. Plants that attract hummingbirds and monarchs. All doors on the cabinets are self close.
